We have several public collections a year. In the past we have collected at the following locations

Haywards Heath, in the town centre and at Sainsbury’s
Horsham, in the town centre and at Waitrose in Piries Place
Lindfield

Quiz in the City

For several years our Treasurer, Alf Bodimeade, has run a quiz night attended by members of financial firms in the city of London. This is a fiercely competitive event entered by around 60 teams. In its first year this raised £850 and has since grown to around £10,000.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

Apart from Polly, the rest of the team were Jo, Francis, Rich, Carl, Nicky and Tom. They all finished and raised money for MNDA. Polly has exceeded her target amount of £1500, presently over £2,400 and still climbing. three miles in poor Polly’s injured knee broke down so the last 10 miles was completed in some considerable pain and rendered her target time of 2 hours unreachable. However 2 hrs 21 mins was still respectable for a first attempt and she was the fastest of her team.

Twenty odd thousand runners competed in lovely running and spectating conditions and the atmosphere was tremendous. Great feelings of accomplishment engulfed all at the finish – a special sense of camaraderie between the members of the team was evident. A superb day, a wonderful occassion and everyone and their charities were winners!!
